Hollywood celebrities from Julia Louis-Dreyfus to Laura Dern took to the streets across America on Saturday to protest nationwide abortion in response to the leaked Supreme Court ruling signaling an end to Roe vs. Wade.
Seinfeld and Veep Star Julia Louis-Dreyfus joined a rally in New York with a sign saying “If men got pregnant, you could get an ATM abortion.”
In New York, thousands gathered in Brooklyn Courthouse Square ahead of a march across the Brooklyn Bridge to lower Manhattan for another rally.
At the โBans Off Our Bodiesโ rally in Los Angeles, Titanic actress Frances Fisher spoke about the main stage where she compared the fight for abortion to the civil rights movement and even the abolition of slavery.
“No more wire hangers,” Fisher shouted from the stage, referring to backstreet abortions.
